Prostate and breast cancer are two of the best known. We have very sophisticated tests and treatments for both. Both types of cancer are very recognizable and treatable. Neither a death sentence.
ReplyDeleteIt is the least known of cancer that must be disclosed, and spent more money for their research. Liver / pancreatic cancer, skin cancer and lymphomas are some that most people do not know much. Liver / pancreatic cancer and melanoma are among the most lethal cancers in humans, so that more research needs to be done.
I think it's fairly well known, and only for treatments that the success rate is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteMy father is in remission. He is not with the implant, but was out on the side of the safe distance and is recovering very well.
I did not know he was not known. Perhaps because my father was, it seemed that the information is available only in the way of treatment.
Women, if you or a loved one spouse aged 50 years, has established a test for them. Do not let the men, who often volunteered to go to doctors.
ReplyDeleteThe hardest thing I ago, back from the oncologist and my 7 year old son, after she said that I have owned a 64% survival rate at five years.
Mentally, I agreed, but not great physical treatment. I and melanoma is very unpredictable.
